Mobile Audio Learning Authority to Address National Broadcasting Society

Chicago, IL – March 28, 2007 – Renowned mobile audio learning expert Tim Keelan, founder of Chicago-based StoryQuest, will speak at the National Broadcasting Society’s 65th annual convention, “Convergence in Chicago,” which takes place March 27 through April 1 at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza.
Keelan will be presenting two breakout sessions at the convention: “Podcasting 101” and “Podcasting from the Creative and Legal Sides.” In “Podcasting 101,” the widely regarded premier authority of podcasting will give attendees a fundamental understanding of podcasting along with sharing an overview of its applications and impact. “Podcasting from the Creative and Legal Sides” is a panel discussion focused on the business, creative and legal aspects of podcasting. Keelan will be joined on the panel by a radio station representative and Dr. Jerry Henderson, a Mass Communications Law Professor from Central Michigan University.
The “Convergence in Chicago” convention will be attended by hundreds of broadcast media college students and young professionals from across the country dedicated to building and strengthening their careers. “Convergence in Chicago” features keynote speaker Robert A. Iger, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, along with numerous prominent broadcast and electronic media specialists.
