Miller Heiman Engages StoryQuest to Deliver Mobile Learning for 2006 National User Conference Attendees

November 21st, 2006 by Tim Keelan

Chicago, IL – November 21 , 2006 – Miller Heiman, widely regarded as “The Sales Performance Company,” is applying StoryQuest’s conference capture service offering, a new mobile learning technology method that maximizes the information delivered at training and motivational conferences.  Miller Heiman most recently used StoryQuest’s conference capture service offering at its Annual User Conference in Lake Tahoe, CA in September 2006.  Over 200 sales professionals attended the annual US conference, all of whom are now able to see, hear in-sync and access online locally and through mobile devices such as iPods.  In addition, through the conference capturing technology, the audio and visual content of the Miller Heiman Annual User Conference in now available to over 1,000,000 Miller Heiman users.

“The content we presented at our User Conference is relevant and valuable to a broad range of clients who are responsible for driving sales performance in their organizations. By capturing the content in this way, we are able to deliver the information to both attendees and those who could not attend in a mobile, referenceable format,” says Dario Priolo, EVP of corporate development at Miller Heiman.

StoryQuest’s conference capturing system is the newest training technology introduced by the leader in mobile learning.  Through podcasting’s popular “push, publish and subscribe” approach, conference capturing literally ‘captures’ the actual audio and visual training content presented at conferences and makes it available in an accessible, flexible, user-friendly format.  Conference attendees and associations members are able to experience a synchronized audio-visual version of the actual conference sessions, accessed online locally and through mobile devices such as iPods.  Downtime is all but eliminated and travel time is maximized by making extremely useful but previously lost content easily attainable, whenever and wherever it’s needed.

“In a conference environment, it is impossible to retain everything that is presented, so this technology provides an easy way to revisit key elements and get more value from the conference experience,” say Priolo.
