Director of Marketing (in Chicago)

StoryQuest is a Chicago based marketing and new media firm. We have a passion for leveraging real world stories to help our clients deliver learning, marketing, and customer reference programs. We are looking for a marketing leader with extensive B2B experience, and the ability to drive branding, lead generation, and PR. This person needs to be versatile, hands on, and able to programs from inception to completion in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment. Here is what we are looking for:

#1 - Attitude – you must be able to bring your joy, passion, and work ethic every day.

#2 - Proven track record of executing B2B marketing programs including webinar, email, PR, and social media campaigns.

#3 - 7+ years experience creating and executing lead generation programs, utilizing social media tools, etc. Experience working in entrepreneurial environment is preferred.

Role and responsibilities:

• Understand the target market, the right messaging and channel options to support lead generation and nurturing.
• Develop and lead the implementation of strategies to engage target customers within technology and technology services industries.
• Implement a webinar education program.
• Design and implement an email marketing program.
• Support early stage social media marketing programs.
• Support existing customers programs with internal awareness and promotion.
• Coordinate all PR related activity.
• Work with team to leverage new and creative ways to evangelize new methods of business story collection and storytelling.

Multilanguage Audio Producer

StoryQuest is a Chicago based firm that produces multimedia business stories. We produce stories in many languages and we are seeking experienced freelance producers fluent in both English and one or more of the following languages: Portuguese, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, Swedish, Flemish, Spanish, French, Italian, or Danish. Producers can live an work remotely.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in radio journalism, audio documentary work. Ideally some experience with NPR, BBC or similar.
• Fluent in English and one or more of languages listed above.
• High level of professionalism and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in ProTools, Audacity, or similar package.
• Willing and excited to apply skill set to corporate communications

Independent producers would be expected to:

• Review background information provided and follow established processes.
• Conduct phone interviews in designated language with corporate executives.
• Edit content into final product with compelling storyline.
• Provide transcripts and other review support materials in English and other language.
• Scope of work requires individuals who are good at following directions, but excited to apply their creativity and storytelling skills to the business world.

Producer base location unimportant, as work may be carried out remotely.
